Open Sculling & Sweep

Open Sculling & Sweep is a program for rowers with experience beyond an introductory rowing course, such as BCR's Foundations of Rowing. Goals of the team include increasing fitness, improving technique, and regional racing. The program accommodates a wide range of fitness levels, from those athletes who enjoy a fitness focused row to those who enjoy training for competition.

Participation in regattas is not required, but opportunities are available for those athletes interested in competition. Coaches may designate certain days for specific types of workouts and may prescribe additional training to assist athletes who may need further development.

Practices

Tuesday & Thursday 6:30-8:30 PM

Saturday 8:00-10:00 AM

Fee: Rowers participating in Open Sculling & Sweep must purchase an Annual Membership of $275 plus pay the program fee of $800 per year (this can be paid in full or billed in 8 automatic recurring payments)*.

*These fees are non-refundable and do not include incidental costs for individuals who choose to race, such as uniform and regatta participation fees.
