Community PartnershipS
Baltimore Community Rowing promotes the sport of rowing for fitness, competition, and recreation for residents of the Baltimore Metro area.
BCR JUNIORS COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS
BCR partners with youth organizations and schools throughout Baltimore City to bring awareness to the sport of rowing and offer opportunities to middle school and high school aged students who might not otherwise have the chance to experience their city from the water.
Ongoing partnerships include the R.I.C.H. Program of Cherry Hill, Boys & Girls Club, and Corner Team. BCR has also worked with a variety of schools including Lakeland Elementary Middle School, a school visit to Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, and a gym takeover at Baltimore City College.

A variety of experiences are available, including boathouse tours, on-land team building, and on-water rowing instruction. Most partnership activities happen during July/August and December/January/February.
