Indoor Rowing
Baltimore Community Rowing is committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive, racially diverse rowing community and providing equitable access to the sport of rowing for residents of the Baltimore metro area.
Indoor Rowing
Introduction to Indoor Rowing is offered Saturdays and Sundays in December, January, & February. This series of free 1-hour classes will teach you the mechanics of the rowing stroke, power application, and how to interpret performance data on the Concept2 RowErg. Class size is limited. Lessons are sequential; we ask that you attend all listed dates for the session for which you register.
Erg Conditioning is offered Wednesdays in January, February, and March. This monthly class builds on skills from Intro to Indoor Rowing and is also perfect for the masters athlete returning to the sport after some time away or for participants enrolled in Foundations of Rowing. Concept2 RowErgs are used to progressively build fitness and power in the rowing stroke.
Prerequisite: Introduction to Indoor Rowing or prior on-water rowing experience.
