BCR Supports and Takes Action for Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

Baltimore Community Rowing has been listening to the overwhelming movement for social justice and racial equality throughout our country and our sport. As an organization that has supported racial diversity and provided equitable access to rowing as part of its mission, we believe we must do more to support this important effort.

Action is needed to bring change, so we are taking steps to open dialogue with our members and lobby USRowing to involve us in their diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts at the national level. Together we can create change for our sport and our community.

Read our letter to USRowing calling for changes to their diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts and offering our support to their national initiatives
