The 2008 Head of the Fort will be held on Saturday, September 6. The 4,700 meter head race will start at Fort McHenry and end at Middle Branch Park just inside the Hanover Street Bridge. Historically, conditions have seen temperatures in the 70s with a light breeze (5-10mph) out of the south/southwest.

Registration will be handled through RegattaCentral; we have events for Novice, Open, Masters, and Juniors.

Fort McHenry will be hosting Defenders Day activities the following weekend: Friday, September 12 through Sunday, September 14.
