After the regatta, enjoy the outdoor ambience of Nick's Fish House, barely a mile away! Head north on Hanover Street/MD-2, ride over the bridge, make a right at the light onto Cromwell Street, another right immediately onto Insulator Drive, and follow until you see Nick's on the righthand side!

The 2008 Charm City Sprints will be held on Saturday, June 21. The course will be a 1,000-meter sprint race on the home waters of the Baltimore Rowing Club located at Middle Branch Park. We have events for Novice, Open, Masters and Juniors levels. The starting point will be the "Glass Beach" on the west side of the lagoon, with the finish line just prior to the Hanover Street Bridge.

Historically, conditions have seen temperatures in the 70s with a light breeze (five to ten miles per hour) out of the south/southwest.

The Short List

Electronic Registration: The preferred method, via RegattaCentral.
Snail-mail Registration: Acceptable, but discouraged.
Waivers: Fill out online, bring signed to regatta, or mail in with entries.
Entry Deadline: Saturday, June 14.
Late-Entry Window: Thursday, June 19.
Juniors: Enter in any non-Masters event. Club name must designate as a Junior crew (e.g.: Runamuck Rowing Club Juniors, Mobtown Jnrs., Bigtown Prep Boys, etc.)
Bow Numbers: Bring your own.
Race Schedule: Tentative schedule is included in this packet. Subject to compression or expansion depending on heat formation.
