The clinic is FREE.

Target audience: People who know nothing about refereeing or people that want to know more about the rules of racing. Presentations will be given by clinicians (referees with at least 10-15 years experience) from the DC/VA area. Referee candidates must be 21 years old but no rowing experience necessary.

Bring a pen or pencil. Handouts will be provided.

We will cover:

• The Rules of Rowing: perfect for coaches and coxes who want to learn about the rules for sprint racing.
• The Lifecycle of the Referee: perfect for parents and rowers who want to learn about becoming a referee and understanding the time commitment required.
