Baltimore Rowing: Membership Dues

The Small Print: When paying registration dues by check, a $25 service charge applies to any checks returned unpaid.
$50 for existing club members / $100 for new club members
Winter Training
Winter Training is upon us!
Effective the late 2009/early 2010, winter training is no longer included in any level of membership. To train with the club during the winter, you must instead register and pay for this program separately.

Basic Membership
Basic Membership grants you voting privileges, as well as use of Baltimore RC equipment and facilities. Five hours of volunteer hours required from all members; after these first five, annual members can earn an additional five hours of credit toward 2010 dues at the rate of $10 of credit per hour volunteered.
This fee includes only basic $300 annual membership fee; coaching will not be available to basic annual members. If you have any questions, please contact membership chair Megan Sikora.
Annual Membership with Coaching
Annual Membership (also known as Coached Membership) grants you voting privileges, use of Baltimore RC equipment and facilities, and the study and training of our esteemed coaching staff. Five hours of volunteer hours required from all members; after these first five, annual members of coached programs can earn an additional ten hours of credit toward 2010 dues at the rate of $10 of credit per hour volunteered.

Since the competitive program starts earlier than others, members of that group are required to pay more for the extra coaching time.
These fees include the basic $300 annual membership fee; the additional monies go toward coaching fees.
Rack owners who wish to join the club without participating in a coached program should contact membership chair Megan Sikora.

Refunds will be given in the form of checks, minus a service fee of $25. As with all of our programs, there is a $25 service charge for any checks returned upaid.
After graduating from the novice program, new rowers are invited to continue their Baltimore RC membership through the rest of the season (and beyond). We call this category Continuing Novice; rowers are absorbed into the Open sweep program and remaining club dues are prorated depending upon your graduating novice class.
Continuing membership for spring, summer, and fall novice graduates will start immediately after the end of your novice class and last through the rest of the season.
